Have you had fits trying to change the prices of snack and soda selections on your antares refreshment centers? Those little plastic coin mechs are really simple once you understand them.

I currently have 7 Antares machines placed. I am concerned with price increase, how will I be able to reach prices beyond the maximum four quarters for $1 sales that are my limit with the current coin mechinism in use now? Thank you, Barry Loewen, Loewen Enterprises. BarryLoewen503@msn.com

Hi, Just wanted to thank you for your assistance on how to configure these. Your blog was instrumental in us deciding to purchase and install one of these in my wife's office. She wanted to create a mini-business for my kids which they could hopefully grow over time.
We purchased a unit used for $400, and while it was a little banged up on the outside, it worked great. However, after a recent hurricane took out the power for 2weeks, we discovered that the unit no longer seems to cool.
Do you know, offhand
1) a reliable resource in the Houston area that does repair on the Anares units?
2) whether it would be worthwhile to do the repair, or should we just look at replacing?

I bought a used Mars Electronics Vending Machine #VFM3-L1-U2C5 which has no manual with it. The coin box and other parts seem to all work fine, but we have not been able to figure out how to adjust the pricing. I was told that you can have all items one flat price, or set it to have different pricing for different sections. I have looked online for a manual or directions and can find numerous ones for the coin box, etc. but nothing for general directions or specifically adjusting pricing. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.harleyroads@teknett.com
